They just want the right to go to work in the morning and bring home enough money to make themselves and their families happy. When I think about anything political these days I just change the subject.

They released a single earlier this year and it fell largely on deaf ears. I think a few people heard it. The duo has been releasing these videos and songs in this format to try and stir up some attention. Sometimes it takes a song like I Need A Job to get a band attention.

This could be the one people connect with and request to hear on the radio. Anything can happen. They have a great sound. They have the pedigree of being in successful country acts before. I think I Need A Job has that kind of potential.

What are your thoughts on the song? It's unlikely to find serious consideration and move up the charts -- 'I Need a Job' is more of a novelty a la Cledus T. Judd than a serious single -- but it's not too clever for its purpose. Burns and Poe won't be starting a social revolution with the song. They'll only be putting a few smiles on faces that need them.
