Why is the wardrobe magical

Aslan was my favorite character in the Narnia series. The siblings discover Narnia after. Aslan the lion brings them there.

The rightful ruler of Narnia was. When the siblings return home, they realize that. Narnia was all a dream. Written and recorded by Jaksyn Peacock for EnglishClub. I would love to see it included. I think that little bit of extra effort would win over a lot of trust from die-hards like myself. What did you think of the wardrobe in the movie? What should Netflix do differently?

Not really, but if Netflix reboots the whole franchise, even after 2 WHOLE YEARS of inactivity, a simple, lovingly-made wardrobe with a mirror in it — a faithful rendition from the books — would get me excited for the Netflix reboot. Severus Snape does not have a beard. I agree. And Netflix is notorious for releasing very little news until 2 or 3 months before the release date, when the promotion goes to full swing.

Although maybe the presence of Narniaweb and other Narnia fan communities would be the reason, because it will be a form of promotion for them. Also I just prefer when movies really up their visuals in comparison to the source material. Like the most comic accurate Captain America suit is probably the one he wears in the first Joss Whedon Avengers movie, and it looks pretty lame. I totally agree with you there. I too believe that Digory could have put some good effort into making the wardrobe memorable beyond just being the wood from the apple tree.

The Wardrobe was a magical portal in Professor Kirke's House that linked Earth to the world of Narnia , if only for a short time. During that adventure, Aslan had sent Digory to retrieve an apple from a magic tree and bring it back to him.

After Digory did so, the apple was planted in the ground and grew into a beautiful tree with silver bark, known as the Tree of Protection. This tree acted like a shield, keeping the witch Jadis out of Narnia for many years after it was planted.

Aslan later gave an apple from the Tree of Protection to Digory. Afterwards, Digory buried the apple core in his backyard, and it grew into a tree as well - a daughter tree to the one that had grown in Narnia. Sometimes the apple tree would creak and move, as if being blown in the wind - when there wasn't any; as if it could feel the winds that blew its mother tree.
